Jethro "Smithy" Junior is the court blacksmith and squire to all the knights and knights-in-training. He is a soft-spoken, mild-mannered fifteen-year-old with an underlying wit. A genius at the forge, he is smart and good with all tools. He is the most mature of his friends among the castle staff, and is something of an older brother to them all. He is very compassionate and cares deeply for his friends and kingdom, especially Pig, his pig helper.
